{"id":1363,"date":"2024-02-28T09:15:31","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T09:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gccbusinessgate.org\/?p=1363"},"modified":"2025-01-11T17:57:38","modified_gmt":"2025-01-11T17:57:38","slug":"aramco-inks-6bn-deals-to-boost-saudi-supply-chain-ecosystem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccbusinessgate.org\/ar\/aramco-inks-6bn-deals-to-boost-saudi-supply-chain-ecosystem\/","title":{"rendered":"Aramco inks $6bn deals to boost Saudi supply chain ecosystem"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Saudi oil giant Aramco today (February 27) advanced its strategic localisation programme by signing 40 corporate procurement agreements worth $6 billion with suppliers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The agreements aim to strengthen Aramco\u2019s domestic supply chain ecosystem, contributing to the company\u2019s resilience and its reliability and ability to meet the evolving needs of its customers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They also provide suppliers with long-term visibility of demand, enabling them to capture future growth and advance localisation efforts, it stated.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>One of the world\u2019s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, Aramco said these will also contribute to achieving the objectives of its flagship initiative &#8211; in-Kingdom Total Value Add program (iktva) &#8211; that aims to drive the growth of a vibrant economy, and create new opportunities for Saudi nationals.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On the procurement deals, Wail Al Jaafari, Aramco Executive Vice President of Technical Services, said: &#8220;The 40 new agreements signed today are expected to contribute to the domestic value chain, and further enhance the ecosystem that Aramco is helping to build.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;These agreements move us towards a more prosperous, diverse and resilient supply chain, which will help ensure business continuity.
